General Terms and Conditions

  1. All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be made under any circumstances except pursuant to conditions under Event Cancellation.

  2. Tickets may be transferred to another person, provided the guest purchasing the ticket emails ball@anzajakarta.com by 12pm Friday 6 September 2019.

  3. Ticket holders must be 21 years or older. ANZA and the Venue Owner reserves the right to verify ticket holder’s age.

  4. Tickets may be collected from ANZA House during open hours (Monday to Friday 9am - 12pm, excluding public holidays). All tickets should be collected by 12pm Friday 13 September 2019.

  5. ANZA and the Venue Owner reserve the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission or to evict any persons from the event whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.

  6. The Ticket Holder agrees to submit to any search for any prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances.

  7. The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual event, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.

Event Cancellation

  1. In the unlikely event the ANZA Annual Charity Ball is cancelled a Cancellation Notice shall be place on anzajakarta.com and ANZA Facebook Page.

  2. Refunds for individual tickets will be issued in cash for collection at ANZA House within three weeks of the Cancellation Notice.

  3. Refunds for table bookings will be issued via bank transfer within two weeks of the Cancellation Notice.

Raffle and Silent Auctions

ANZA has a number of sponsors who generously donate prizes for our silent auctions and raffle draw usually a physical product or vouchers for a service.

  1. Silent Auction Process - Auctions will be displayed in the Raffle and Silent Auction Area and bid sheets will be available for completion. Minimum bid amounts will apply.

  2. Announcements will be made throughout the event as to the closing of auctions. ANZA Ball Coordinators have the final call on the closing of auction.

  3. Winning Silent Auction Bidders undertake to pay for their prizes within two weeks of the event. Either by cash at ANZA House or via bank transfer. Once the auction is settled ANZA will make arrangements for collection, delivery or transfer of prizes.

  1. Winning Raffle Prize Tickets will be posted on a board at the Raffle Prize area and winning Ticket Holders can collect on the night or make arrangements to collect from ANZA House within two weeks of event.

  2. Tickets for unclaimed prizes will be announced on ANZA Facebook Page and via Member E-News. Prizes may be claimed from ANZA House on presentation of the ticket.

  3. Any prizes not claimed within two weeks of event will be transferred to our next event.

  4. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

  5. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. It is the responsibility of the winner to confirm such conditions with the prize supplier or other relevant third parties.

For any travel related prizes:

  1. Any travel companion under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian at all times.

  2. The winner acknowledges and accepts that activities that form part of the prize are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. The Promoter is not responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may take place. The winner must make his or her own enquiries about local issues and conditions at the destination prior to travel.

  3. The winner (and their companion/s) is/are responsible for all other expenses not covered by the prize package. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and their travelling companion(s) are fit to travel and have received appropriate health checks prior to taking the prize.

Privacy Policy

ANZA may collect personal information for the purpose of planning the event. We do not rent or sell personal information to other organisations.

Our Raffle and Silent Auction Sponsors may require the names of winners to validate the prize for example for accommodation vouchers. In this case, ANZA will contact the winner to confirm the sharing of contact details.
