About Catherine Booth
Catherine Booth is a Christian orphanage for girls, run by the Salvation Army. They care for about 20 girls, aged between six and 18. About half of the girls are orphans, and the others are 'economic orphans'. Their parents are unable to care for and educate their daughters and have asked Catherine Booth to help them.
